Bolivian Amphibian Initiative – BAI welcomes committed individuals to support its mission of amphibian conservation in Bolivia. BAI fosters professional development, knowledge exchange, and collaborative efforts, providing opportunities for volunteers and interns to contribute meaningfully to conservation initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements:

Participation is open to all individuals regardless of background or experience. Interested applicants must demonstrate enthusiasm, proactivity, and a commitment to BAI’s mission.


Mandatory Requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old or provide written consent from their legal representative.
  • Spanish language proficiency is recommended but not required.
  • Selected participants must maintain valid accident insurance for the entire duration of the program.
  • Selected participants must comply with Bolivian entry regulations, including visa requirements and vaccination mandates applicable to their country of origin.

Interested candidates must complete the Volunteer and Internship Application Form and submit the following mandatory PDF documents (maximum 1 MB each) attached to the form:

  • A cover letter or statement of motivation.
  • A one-page curriculum vitae (CV)
Response times may vary depending on team workload. Applicants should anticipate a processing period of up to two weeks.
